Couldn't Happen To A More Deserving Goober

Arlen Specter was told by Democrats that when he switched, he would keep his seniority level on his committees. In other words, he would gain a lot of power and even be in line to chair some committees.

Oops. Seems they will even lie to their own. Specter was spanked publically by the Dems, who made him the most junior member of every committee he sits on.

The irony is delicious, and the justice is sweet.
