Don't You Wish Charlie Rangel Wouldn't Ignore The Words Of Dr. King?

This is a note to Charlie Rangel.

If it’s a racial issue every single time a black is a victim and a white is the perp, then does it not follow that it’s a racial issue every single time a white is a victim and a black is the perp?

Thanks for keeping up the race baiting, Charlie. It’s great that you have continued to completely ignore everything Dr. King stood for when he said that one day people would be judged by their actions and not the color of their skin. Thank you for disregarding everything except skin color when you address any story. You and Jesse and Al keep the rest of the world thinking about skin color, defeating the ideals of Dr. King.

Way to go.

Oh, and just out of curiosity, would someone explain the difference between Charlie’s joke about Obama possibly being shot, and this joke?

Having gotten all of that out of the way, this is a sad story. An off-duty cop, with two years on the force, catches a drug addict breaking into his car. Out of uniform and with no ID, he pulls his gun and chases the druggie down the middle of the street, passing an unmarked car with three plainclothes officers. The officers give chase, shouting to the man to drop his weapon. According to all reports, the off-duty officer never identified himself as he turned towards the officers with his gun in his hand. The officers shot and the off-duty cop was hit three times and killed.

And the race-baiting parade began.

Well, let’s just look at that scenario.
1. He was black.
2. He was not in uniform.
3. He was carrying a gun while running down the street.
4. He did not identify himself when approached by the plainclothes officers.

I would think that if you change #1, he probably still gets shot.
If you change #2, he probably doesn’t get shot.
Change #3, he definitely doesn’t get shot.
Change #4, again, probably not shot.

So, why is this racial?
