Get Arrested, Get A Job

If you live in California, and you commit a drug related felony, you can be selected for a program that trains you for a job. If you are an illegal immigrant, you can’t legally hold any of the jobs you get trained for, but who cares? While you are in the program, you are treated as if you never committed any crime – you are free to live where you want, go where you want, no bail, no probation, nothing.

Sounds sweet, right? At least for the criminals, who are left free to roam the streets and commit more crimes while given taxpayer-funded “job training.”

The mastermind behind this program is now running to be the top law enforcement officer in the state.

When asked about why there are illegal immigrants enrolled in the taxpayer-funded program, leaving them open to committing more felonies like murder and armed robbery, Ms. Harris said local law enforcement is not responsible for enforcing federal immigration laws.

This is a San Francisco DA. Not a defense lawyer, but a lawyer who is supposed to uphold the law and represent the people. I guess she only considers illegals and criminals to be those that she is supposed to represent.
