If You Are Going To Remember

If you are going to remember something today, remember the determination we all once shared that something like this would never again happen.

Remember the clarity on who did this.

Remember their celebrating our grief.

Remember the military who have died over the years prior to five years ago in unprovoked attacks by the same enemy.

Remember the enemy's resolve to hurt us.

Remember that the job is not done.

Remember that they still want to hurt us.

Remember that there are those in this country who want to appease.

Remember that some did nothing or little to prevent what led to this day.
