Anyone Can Find Racism Anywhere, As Long As You Squint, Focus Really Hard, and Have A Great Imagination

The ACLU is whining again.

This time, they say we are using racial profiling in detaining suspected terrorists and drug carriers.

According to the story, federal guidelines prohibit detaining or investigating someone “solely on the basis of race, religion or ethnicity.

There’s the rub. You think there’s no other reason whatsoever that the people who get detained are suspected of maybe being involved with something? So, a black man wearing a $1000 suit steps off a plane in front of a grungy white guy who looks skittish, afraid, and exhibits nervousness, and you are telling me the black man will be “detained?” Puh-leeze.

Or, a middle eastern person enters the country on a plane. This person is well dressed, well spoken, has a sunny disposition, and shows no sign of being furtive or suspicious behavior. However, the Norwegian sitting three rows back keeps to himself, is quiet, and his eyes dart around constantly. He is dressed in ragged clothes, and he carries a magazine on explosives. Additionally, the Norwegian is sullen and barks at anyone who tries to talk with him or get too close to him. According to the ACLU, the Norwegian will be allowed to sail through customs while the happy Arabian will be questioned under bright lights. Uh huh. Sure.

I have not heard of anything the ACLU has done in decades that has not made me laugh at the pure stupidity they exhibit. I sometimes wonder why they are allowed to drive by themselves.
