So, Obama has decided the best way to try and salvage something from November's elections is to come out with the tired rehash known as "Republicans bad, progressives good" otherwise known as "wahhh, wahhh, it's Bush's fault." Hey, if your record (when you finally have one) does not work, just go back into campaign mode.

Here's some hope and change for you - Obama has added more to the national debt than Washington through Reagan...combined. That's right. Add up every dime of debt from the administrations of Washington, Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Monroe, Adams, Jackson, Van Buren, Harrison, Tyler, Polk, Taylor, Fillmore, Pierce, Buchanan, Lincoln, Johnson, Grant, Hayes, Garfield, Arthur, Cleveland, Harrison, Cleveland, McKinley, Roosevelt, Taft, Wilson, Harding, Coolidge, Hoover, Roosevelt, Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, and Reagan. This covers 50 terms, 200 years, the Great Depression, two World Wars, a Civil War, many other wars and police actions, several recessions, and untold other things. Add up all that debt, and you STILL come up with less than Obama has saddled on your children's backs...in just 19 months.

Of course Obama had the help of his willing accomplices, notably San Fran Nan and Harry "I had nothing to do with the bad economy" Reid, along with all other leftist progressives.

And now, Obama wants us to vote for progressives disguised as Democrats in November because we should be "willing again to choose hope over fear, to choose the future over the past, to come together once more around the great project of national renewal, then we will restore our economy, rebuild our middle class and reclaim the American dream for the next generation."

He thinks that the American public is stupid enough to just ignore the last 19 months and go back to blindly drinking the hope-n-change koolade again. He thinks that by just repeating what he said while running for president as an almost-complete unknown, that voters will ignore what they've seen with their own eyes for the last year and a half.

God, I hope he's wrong.

Stranger still that when asked for information on the woman, like a name or a city – anything that they could verify – the White House all of a sudden developed severe memory loss.

Nancy Pelosi not only denied being briefed by the CIA on interrogations, she called the CIA liars. You would think that releasing the paperwork from those briefings would be welcomed by Pelosi, who could then vindicate herself.

So, why are house democrats shooting down bill amendments aimed at releasing that paperwork? Why would democrats want to keep stuff hidden? Why won't they assist Nancy in proving her case about the CIA?

Of course, when it comes to hiding stuff, the good ole lefties can be depended upon to not allow that to extend to the CIA when it comes to wartime interrogations. Democrats are trying to pass legislation to force the CIA to videotape all interrogations. That would not only weaken our abilities, it would make the country weaker and more vulnerable.

Of course, that has been the result of most every leftie move over the last several decades.

Dems Blame Bush for Economic Woes Started By Dems

Wicked Witch Pelosi wants to have hearings on the economic problems. If she had one ounce of honesty in her body (don’t hold your breath), the first witnesses would be Barney Frank and Christopher Dodd. After that would be officials from the Carter and Clinton administrations, followed by Jamie Gorelick, Franklin Raines, and Rahm Emanuel.

Like I said, don't hold your breath. They will make damn sure to blame all of this on Bush, despite the truth. Don't get me wrong. Bush shares a small portion of blame, for going along with the Dems on this one. But the wheels were in motion long before he ran for president, and the liberal congress would have rammed it through anyway.

The blame game has already begun. Barney Frank says the fault of the current economic crisis lays with the “Bush-era policy to help low-income families become homeowners instead of renters contributed to the sub-prime mortgage crisis.”

Perhaps Barney forgot the policy was started by Carter, enlarged by Clinton, and pushed extremely hard by himself and Chris Dodd. Bush did support it, due in large part to his strong desire to get along with Democrats, but this is a overwhelmingly Democrat policy.

No amount of lying or amnesia will change that.

With all the bad news about PBO’s cabinet appointees, at least it was nice to see nothing haunting his Secretary of Education, Arne Duncan.

Spoke too soon. CBS in Chicago is reporting on a pattern of teachers hitting and abusing students during Duncan’s watch, and although he promised punishment for those caught, it rarely happened. Out of 568 verified cases, only 24 punishments were meted out.

PBO might be thinking the bad news is piling on, but hey, that is what you risk when you are President. After all, Mr. President, ‘you won.’

Congress has the lowest approval ratings in history, even lower than those well-publicized numbers for President Bush. And yet, people in this country not only returned them to power, they strengthened their numbers. Amazing.
